Real Estate and Wine
Foreign and local investors have a strong interest in one of our primary assets, wine, which shows no sign of diminishing. Indeed, we are receiving requests for information both for real estate properties with vineyards and for country houses, which shows the desire if living in a second home and indulging one’s own passions.
The territory we deal with, the Florentine and Sienese Chianti, the hills of the province of Siena as well as those of Arezzo, are surrounded by world-famous wine excellences. Chianti is undoubtedly the “landscape” best known by wine lovers and it is undoubtedly the area that over the years has seen numerous real estate investments by large Italian but also and above many foreign groups.
I am thinking for example of the heritage of “castles” in the surroundings of Gaiole in Chianti, extraordinary locations that have been able to launch innovative concepts by perfectly combining the aspect of hospitality with the wine company. It is a true luxury real estate sought by individuals who want to invest their assets and, even more so in this moment of post-Covid costume revolution, to recreate a new idea of living, in which the spaces (interiors and external) become fundamental for the daily routine both at home and at work.
The architecture of many Tuscan residences, typical of Chianti, such as the “farms” and / or the manor houses, where the peasants lived, are now partly the headquarters of wineries or splendid properties renovated by individuals. They are jewels in the heart of the countryside but a stone’s throw from the city, ideal for living more outdoors with all the comforts of contemporary technology.
